JOB SUMMARY

Coordinates staff scheduling, educational/development activities and performance evaluations.
Actively coordinates pharmacy informatics throughout the health system.
Works with the pharmacy staff and management to acquire an understanding of the core needs of the
department and translates these needs into how the system should be built

 

 


JOB REQUIREMENTS
Minimum Education
Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy required. Doctor of Pharmacy Degree preferred.
Required Skills
Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be
able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
Experience with hospital pharmacy information systems, hospital information systems and financial systems
required. Advanced understanding of Meditech Magic highly desirable.
Certifications:
AHA BLS, preferred
Licenses: Licensed Pharmacist with the State of Tennessee
