Receives patients, explains method of procedure and makes sure patient is comfortable.
Provides patient services to all ages using imaging modalities.
Operates ultrasound equipment to perform clinical diagnostic vascular and echocardiology ultrasound exams. Assists with invasive procedures performed by the Interventional Radiologist and / or Interventional Cardiologist requiring US assistance according to established standards and practices.
Maintains equipment and supplies and organizes work area.
Keeps accurate records, helps with scheduling of the ultrasound and keeps patient flow smooth.
Assists radiologist and/or cardiologist with interventional procedures as ordered. (eg; venous reflux studies, venous ablations, us guided biopsy/aspirations, etc.
Minimum EducationGraduate of a Program in Discipline - Required
Bachelor’s degree - PreferredARDMS Vascular Ultrasound - Required
Required SkillsCertifications:□ Basic Life Support (BLS) required within 90 days of hire□ ARDMS Vascular US
