How you’ll contribute

You’ll make an impact by utilizing your specialized plan-of-care intervention and serving as a patient-care innovator. You will shape exceptional patient journeys every day and leverage your skills and our cutting-edge technology to directly impact patient wellbeing. 

Department/Unit Summary

Our Emergency Department (ED) is comprised of 24 beds with a 1:4 nurse to patient ratio. You will be playing a crucial role in making our community at Lake Havasu City healthier and will be part of a team with a positive and collaborative work environment. At our ED you will approximately see about 75 patients a day and we have a safe working environment. Our ED team combines advanced training with compassionate service to be ready for our patients and their family when they need it the most.

Qualifications and requirements
Applicants should have a current state RN license and possess a bachelor’s degree from an accredited nursing school. Additional requirements include:

  • Associate’s degree in nursing required
  • Arizona Registered Nurse (RN) License or Compact State Registered Nurse (RN) required on hire
  • ACLS and PALS are required upon hire 
  • TNCC required within 6 months of hire
  • Moderate and Deep Sedation, EKG course, and NIHSS Stroke within 30 days of hire
  • 2 years’ experience in Emergency Department preferred. 1 year Paramedic, EMT, or ED Tech experience combined with 1 year RN experience will be considered
