What you’ll do:

The copywriting portion of this position will focus on style consistency, fact-checking, spelling, sentence structure, and clarity, and may also write headlines and subheads for advertising, marketing materials and social media. As a proofreader, this position will examine marketing drafts for mistakes or inconsistencies in spelling, punctuation, and word usage, and any errors that may have occurred between the original design and the final version. 

Responsibilities:

  • Software Proficiency: Should be skilled using industry-standard software, particularly Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) as well as Word, PowerPoint and Excel. Knowledge of Adobe Workfront is a plus.

  • Attention to Detail: Should be able to meticulously review written content for errors in grammar, spelling, punctuation, and formatting, ensuring the text is accurate, consistent, and polished before publication. This involves identifying and correcting mistakes, verifying data, and ensuring compliance with established style guidelines.

  • Collaboration: Will work closely with senior graphic designers, art directors, account executives on the marketing team.

  • Maintain regular and reliable attendance.
  • Perform other duties as assigned
  • Position serves both internal co-workers and external customers, clients, patients, contractors, and vendors.

  • Access to and/or works with sensitive and/or confidential information.

  • Strong initiative and work ethic, with the ability manage digital projects and programs from beginning to end.

What you’ll need:

Education: Bachelor's Degree in English, Communications or Public Relations required 

Experience: Minimum of 3years related experience required. Experience writing in a corporate healthcare setting is a plus.
