What you’ll do:

POSITION SUMMARY:

 

The Director, Contract Administration, is responsible for partnering with category sourcing owners, legal, compliance, procurement and related business owners, maintaining the contract administration process from initial drafting through execution, amendments and eventual refresh or retirement. The Director, Contract Administration, is also responsible for managing a team of enterprise contract administrators.

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:  To perform this job, an individual must perform each essential function satisfactorily with or without a reasonable accommodation. 

 

        Perform the initial development and ongoing continuous improvement of the Contract Administration function

        Maintain a contract administration process from initial drafting through execution, amendments and eventual refresh or retirement

        Partner with sourcing category owners, legal, compliance, procurement and related business owners to influence and create new cross-functional processes needed to run the department

        Coordinate and troubleshoot ERP system procedures and external system integration functions.

        Uphold contract management standards and compliance requirements pertaining to specific contract types

        Manage a team of enterprise contract and purchase agreement administration managers

        Utilize system reporting and data analysis to monitor throughput and performance of contracting process and support issue resolution

        Sustain regular and reliable attendance and perform other duties as assigned.

 Additional Information & Requirements:

 Position serves both internal co-workers and external customers, clients, patients, contractors, and vendors.

 Access to and/or works with sensitive and/or confidential information.

 Exhibit a [comprehensive] understanding of healthcare regulatory and compliance (e.g., HIPAA).  Skilled in the application of policies and procedures.  Knowledge of Business Office Standards and Recommended Practices.

 Strong understanding of ERP system usage, MS Office and Excel-based data analysis, purchase order detail and contract structure

 Aptitude for building processes, establishing rules and policy in collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders, and influencing peers to achieve organizational goals

 SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

Manage the work of others, including planning, assigning, scheduling and reviewing work, ensures quality standards. Responsible for hiring, terminating, training and developing, reviewing performance and administering corrective action for staff.


What you’ll need:

Education: Bachelors Degree required.

Experience: Minimum 5-7 yrs related Experience in Supply Chain, Procurement, Contracts Management or related functions.

Travel: Up to 15%
