What you’ll do:

As a Director, Provider Payment Analytics and Processing, you will play a key role in overseeing the provider compensation centralized team and assuring timely and accurate physician payments throughout the organization.  The position will oversee accurate provider compensation from the execution of a document through all payments being completed accurately and in accordance with that written document.  The position will also support other special projects related to provider compensation and any initiatives in this area. This position offers an opportunity to leverage strong contract interpretation and abstraction skills as well as strong mathematical skills to make a meaningful impact on the accuracy of provider compensation throughout the organization.  This position will also offer the opportunity to oversee a highly skilled team of provider compensation managers.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for overseeing the interpretation of provider contract provisions and assuring such provisions are entered into the physician compensation tool.
  • Oversee the implementation and maintenance of all compensation provisions and other relevant contract provisions in the physician compensation tool.
  • Coordinate with key business stakeholders to assure all provider payments are made timely and accurately.
  • Communicate provider compensation matters with relevant leadership and market team members.
  • Assure adequate quality reviews on all provider compensation calculations in a timely manner.
  • Oversee random quality reviews for provider compensation on a consistent and intermittent cadence.
  • Oversee provider compensation re-reviews based and assure escalation criteria is followed as scheduled.
  • Manage and oversee the provider compensation centralized team.
  • Assist in educating others on provider compensation as needed and as requested.
  • Assure adequate training of all physician compensation managers and other relevant Lifepoint team members
  • Communication and presentation skills are imperative.

What you’ll need:

EDUCATION:

  • Graduate of a paralegal program, relevant bachelors degree and/or commensurate experience required.

EXPERIENCE: Minimum five (5) years experience in physician contracting, physician compensation management and/or physician compensation calculating.
