What you’ll do:
As a Manager, Quality Data Reporting, you will be responsible for the collection, analysis, and reporting of clinical data to support improvement activities within the organization. This role would support key organizational priorities like Unwarranted Care Variation Reduction, National Quality Program, and Transfer Center Optimization.   

Responsibilities:

  • Extract clinical data from various sources, including Lifepoint reporting sources, and the Power BI dashboard. 
  • Analyze clinical data to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies.
  • Collaborate with clinical teams to understand data needs and provide analytical support.
  • Design and develop reports that provide visual insights to improvement teams and leaders within the organization.
  • When requested, provide customized reports to meet the specific needs of various stakeholders, ensuring appropriate insight and clarity.
  • Present reports to clinical teams, management, and external stakeholders using PowerPoint and other presentation tools.
  • Work closely with clinical staff, management, and quality reporting resources to gather requirements and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
  • Provide training and support for users of reports.
  • Provide guidance and review for regulatory and payment program reporting for hospitals
  • Conduct regular reviews of data and reports to ensure accuracy and compliance with industry standards.
  • Stay updated with the capabilities of Lifepoint reporting tools.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement in data collection, analysis, and reporting.
  • Maintain regular and reliable attendance.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

What you'll need:

Education: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field. 

Experience:

  • At least 3 years’ experience working in a professional setting using analysis as core component of the job function, incorporating Excel and PowerPoint tools 
  • One or more years’ experience coaching others

Skills and Abilities:

  • Proficiency in the use of Power BI for insights and data extraction.
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, formulas, VLOOKUP, conditional formatting, data manipulation and transformation, and graphics techniques 
  • Excellent PowerPoint skills for effective presentation of findings.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication skills to convey complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders (both written and verbal).
  • Experience in a clinical or healthcare environment is a plus.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on data accuracy and integrity.
  • Must have a customer service mentality 
  • Knowledge of applied statistics (means, medians, modes, distributions) and basic math

Work Environment & Travel Requirements: 

  • This position is eligible to work remotely.
  • Minimum overnight travel (up to 10%) by land and/or air.
