This is a hybrid position  with flexibility to work remote and certain days required to be onsite at our Brentwood , TN office. 

What you’ll do:

As a Senior Financial Analyst – Medical Group Services (MGS) Finance, you will provide analytics and decision support by translating financial and operational trends and results into actionable insights. The Senior Financial Analyst works closely with MGS leadership to prioritize reporting needs, develop new reports, and ensure provision of timely and accurate deliverables.

To be successful in this role, the Senior Financial Analyst must be able to think critically and self-guide their work without detailed instruction. The right individual will be open to change, suggest ideas for process improvement, and have a positive attitude and enthusiastic approach to problem-solving.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct support to the VP and AVP of MGS Finance in meeting the strategic and operational goals of MGS primarily through meaningful, accurate, and timely financial reporting.
  • Collaborate with MGS leadership to report the financial impact of operations, identify key operational drivers, and create Monthly Operating Reports (MORs).
  • Utilize various Business Intelligence (BI) tools to gather, manipulate, and analyze data to produce regular monthly reports and ad hoc analyses.
  • Design and develop new reports and methodologies to drive operational improvement and meet MGS strategic goals.
  • Coordinate with clinic finance and operations teams to ensure provider-level reporting is accurate, complete, and timely.
  • Support the annual budget preparation process.
  • Develop and obtain new BI technical skills.

What you’ll need:

EDUCATIONThis position requires a Bachelor’s Degree required (Business, Mathematics, Finance, Information Systems, or other quantitative field of study)

EXPERIENCE: 3 years of experience in healthcare finance with experience using PowerBI. SQL experience a plus but not required.
