How you'll contribute
A Certified Nurse Aide who excels in this role:
- Demonstrate support and adherence to the ORHC Mission and Core Values.
- Be knowledgeable and compliant with hospital policies to include but not limited to the Employee Handbook and policies in Policy Stat.
- Leadership strives to create an environment where employees want to work, therefore, utilize your chain of command to bring up concerns and suggestions.
- Demonstrate integrity, adhere to the company compliance program, and report questionable practices through an appropriate avenue such as the ethics and compliance officer or compliance hotline.
- Demonstrate respect for others and self.
- Provide a positive first impression through offering a friendly greeting, initiating conversations, facilitating transitions, adhering to the dress code, wearing your name badge above the waist, and keeping your work area, hospital, and grounds clean, neat, and organized.

- Manage up your fellow coworkers.
- Take pride in the health center.
- Act as an ambassador for Ottumwa Regional Health Center.
- Treat ORHC equipment, supplies and resources with care and use them efficiently.

What we're looking for
Applicants are required to hold a Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) Certification. Additional requirements include:
Certifications: AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of hire. 75+ Hour CNA Certification (must show proof of cert upon hire) required
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent is required
