DLP Cardiac Partners has both Fixed Hospital-Based Labs as well as Mobile Units in multiple North Carolina locations.  We have Fixed Hosptial-Based Labs in Raleigh, Morganton, Henderson and Hendersonville.  We also have our Mobile Units which are based out of Charlotte and Whiteville.

Position Summary:

The Executive Director is the senior leader of the company responsible for all aspects of planning, operation and fiscal accountability in accordance with the High Five Guiding Principles.  Function include but are not limited to providing the highest quality cardiac care for patient while being the place physicians and staff want to work within the community while being fiscally responsible.


Education:  Bachelor’s Degree in healthcare administration or related field required. Master Degree highly preferred 

Professional Experience:  Minimum of 10 years healthcare management experience, 3 years working knowledge of cardiac cath lab 

Working Conditions: Office setting, hospitals, mobiles and warehouse.

 Schedule: Monday through Friday.  Travel: 50%-70%

 Essential Technical/Motor Skills: Ability to manipulate various types of electronic and office equipment, adjust and troubleshoot.   Ability to operate specialty equipment related to area of expertise and to perform computer tasks at a users level. 

Interpersonal Skills:  Must possess the ability to interact and to communicate in English, both orally and written, with all levels of staff, physicians, patients and families in an effective manner.  Must be sensitive to cultural issues. 

Essential Physical Requirements:  Must be able to sit, stand and walk for long periods of time.

 Essential Cognitive Abilities:  Must possess the ability to comprehend and to interpret complex clinical and business subject matter related to specialty. Ability to interpret rules/regulations/accrediting and licensing standards sufficiently for implementation.  Ability to maintain concentration and organization while dealing with multiple issues.  Ability to analyze data and to formulate plan of action.  Must be proficient in speaking, reading and writing English. 

Essential Sensory Requirements:  Ability to respond to patient/family needs by interpreting verbal and non-verbal expressions.  Ability to collect sensory data, analyze political dynamics and intervene appropriately.

 Exposure to Hazards: Normal hospital exposures to airborne contaminates, ionizing radiation.

 Other:  Knowledgeable of the mission, vision and values of the hospital and company.  Operates within the concept of patient-focused care.  Evolves into an effective team leader.  Sets example by conforming to all hospital policies and procedures.
