Job Summary
A Materials Management Clerk performs a variety of tasks to maintain the hospital's medical supplies, equipment and materials inventory. This includes but is not limited to the development of a formulary and PAR levels, cycle counting, ordering, receiving, three-way matching, unloading, distributing and reconciling inventory. It requires previous purchasing experience and strong computer skills, as well the ability to meet moderate physical demands.

Essential Functions
Responsible for receiving and storage of supplies within the Central Supply room and disbursement to clean hold rooms within the hospital.
Receives and fills all supply requisitions
Interfaces directly with staff members of the hospitals departments to determine the formulary and PAR levels.
Properly handles and stores sterile items to maintain sterility.
Maintains a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations; calling for assistance from other support personnel.
Notifies the Director of Finance or LBS purchasing support team when supplies or special orders are needed.
Ensures operation of equipment by following manufacturer's instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; reporting needs for repairs, evaluating new equipment and techniques of use.
Restocks utilizing proper rotation, organization, identification, documentation and location of stock.
Maintains stocks by checking stock inventory levels.
