Position Summary:

Provides computed tomography imaging in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Two (2) year certificate, Associate degree and/or Baccalaureate degree.
  • Current Radiation Operator Certificate in the state of Kentucky. 
  • Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology in Radiology. 
  • Basic Life Support (BLS)
  • Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action 
  • Must accept on call assignments for regularly scheduled shifts and be available to report to facility within 30 minutes of notification. This status will be determined by technologist on duty.
