 Provides support of primary operating and application software and hardware. Performs installs and upgrades of software, hardware, printers, fax machines, etc.  Troubleshoots and remediates security issues found on workstations and file servers.  Verifies daily file server backups are successful.

Reports to: Operations Manager/Network-PACS Analyst

Serves as key customer contact for inquiries and resolution of customer issues.
Provides support for daily operation, inspection, and maintenance of computer equipment and software
Monitors file server backups for successful completion. Troubleshoots and seeks assistance from appropriate personnel/vendors.
Provides support to frequently used PC software, printers, along with PC troubleshooting.
Performs PC installations and setup, software updates and installations.
Analyzes and assesses interruptions in normal systems operations. Resolves problems or seeks assistance from the appropriate personnel or vendors, as needed.
Performs installs and upgrades afterhours and on weekends as required.
Updates and documents detailed information in ServiceNow on open calls and service requests.
Assists and troubleshoots security/patch management issues for workstations and file servers.
Properly disposes of computer equipment based on LifePoint standards.
Troubleshoots, repairs and/or replaces defective desk phones and wireless phones.
Provides support to users on basic voicemail issues.
Supports help desk functions as needed
Participates in On-Call Rotation schedule to include weekends, holidays and other necessary times.

Minimum Education
High school diploma or equivalent - Required
Minimum Education
Associate’s degree in MIS - Preferred
Required Skills
Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
Required Skills
Licenses: Current Tennessee or State of Residence Drivers License with clean MVR
A+ certification, MCP - Preferred.
Minimum Work Experience
Two (2) years related work experience - Required with High School level education - Preferred with Associates Degree in MIS
