As a member of our clinic team, you will have a significant impact on the patients and staff that you interact with on a daily basis. You will be responsible for providing high-quality, professional, and compassionate patient care as directed by a physician or registered nurse pursuant to the mission and policies of UP Health System - Portage. The ideal candidate will be an organized and energetic team player.


Required Skills:
• Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. 
• Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
• Demonstrates proficiency in verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to interact effectively and professionally with individuals at all levels; both internal and external

Position Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent required
Current CMA certification is preferred  
Certified Nursing Assistant’s (CNAs) are welcome to apply and must successfully complete the Medical Assistant Program within 3 months of employment start date.
Tuition assistance available for CMA training and examination expenses.
Annual influenza vaccination or declination required


 
Position Details: 
0.6 FTE (Part-time, 24 hours per week)
Day shift
Weekdays only
