UP Health System – Portage is seeking an Occupational Therapist to join our dynamic team of professionals to provide exceptional quality, compassionate healthcare in a progressive and integrated healthcare environment. You will join the largest rehabilitation and sports medicine team in the Western Upper Peninsula and assist in providing evidence based care. 

UP Health System - Portage is located in the Houghton/Hancock community near Lake Superior, home to Michigan Technological University and Finlandia University. This quaint, family-oriented community with excellent schools offers year-round recreational opportunities including skiing, snowmobiling, hiking, kayaking, fishing, hunting, and more. Required Skills:
• Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
• Demonstrates proficiency in verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to interact effectively and professionally with individuals at all levels; both internal and external

Position Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree required
Master’s degree preferred
State of Michigan Occupational Therapist license and registration
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (available upon hire)
Annual influenza vaccination or declination required

Position Details:
.001 FTE (PRN, variable hours per week)
Day Shift
