As a Barista you’ll be the face of our café and deliver on our mission of providing a safe and welcoming third place for anyone who walks through our door.

To perform this job, an individual must perform each essential function satisfactorily with or without reasonable accommodation.

1.Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages, adhering to company standards.

2.Operate espresso machines, grinders, coffee brewers, and other equipment safely.

3.Provide high-end customer service with kindness, respect, and empathy at the forefront of all interactions.

4.Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including café seating and equipment.

5.Restock supplies and ingredients

6.Handle transactions accurately and honestly with our POS system

7.Have a team-oriented attitude and willingness to step in to help one another when needed

8.Other duties as assigned.


Qualifications

Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent.

Experience:Previous experience as a barista or bartender is preferred but not required. A food service background is preferred.

Must have a passion for coffee, and a desire to learn about brewing techniques and specialty beverages.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and multi-task effectively.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality over everything.

Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays.

Skills: Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.

Ability to work independently and make decisions.

Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients and provide outstanding customer service.

Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, contributing to a positive and productive work environment.

Professionalism: High level of professionalism, discretion, and adherence to ethical standards in all aspects of the shop.
