The Registered Respiratory Therapist ensures proper patient care by performing all respiratory therapy treatments, quality improvement and assessment, ventilator care, pulmonary functions, assist in emergency procedures requiring manual resuscitation, clerical duties, along with routine daily duties.


Qualifications

  • Must be registered/Registry Eligible by attending a two year AMA approved school. 
  • Previous hospital Respiratory Care experience is desirable but not required.  
  • Registered by the National Board for Respiratory Care; licensed by the state of SC as a Respiratory Care Professional;
  • BLS  ACLS certifications required upon hire
  • NRP and PALS certifications must be obtained within 90 days of hire
