Valley Springs Behavioral Health Hospital, a 150-bed facility in joint partnership with Baystate Health and Lifepoint Health located inHolyoke, MA, is seeking aChild & Adolescent Psychiatrist  to join our Behavioral Health team.  The incoming physician will oversee our growing mental health care program for our 24 bed Child & Adolescent Psychiatry unit. This is afull timeemployed position that will share call with other providers.Board Certification/Eligibility in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry(with ACGME-accredited fellowship training) isrequired.
Holyoke is in the suburbs of Springfield and about 2 hours from Boston and 3 hours from New York. This riverside community offers an abundance of outdoor activities and affordable housing options. The New England area offers Psychiatrists ample academic opportunities for professional and personal growth.


Qualifications

Qualifications

Education: Graduate of an accredited medical school doctoral program required; completed residency in Psychiatry and a fellowship in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, board certification preferred.

Experience: Prior experience in hospital based psychiatric practice or outpatient psychiatric practice preferred

License: Current unencumbered medical doctor licensure in the state applicable to the facility

Additional requirements: Successful credentialing with facility.
