We perform a variety of duties under the direction of a registered technologist. Able to perform some exams after competencies have been completed with the School of Radiologic Technology. Handles patients of all ages (neonates, pediatrics, adolescents, adults and geriatrics).  â€'

How you'll contribute  
An Imaging Assistant, PRN who excels in this role: 

• Assist the technologist during radiographic procedures.
• Purges x-ray folders from the Radiology file room.
• Provides radiation protection for patients.
• Develops film when necessary.
• Positions patients and selects optimal technique for exams that they have passed competency on.
• Participates in peer competencies.

What we're looking for  
Applicants should possess a High School Diploma or equivalent. Additional requirements include:

• Completed first semester at Conemaugh School of Radiologic Technology.
• BLS/CPR.
