Position Summary:

The RN Quality Coordinator - Data Abstractor will be responsible for data abstraction for Inpatient/Outpatient quality performance measures, conducting medical record reviews, gathering data from a variety of sources and chart reviews, data retrieval, data entry, data presentation/formatting, and general support for the Hospital's Quality Standards program. Serve as a resource for reports and participates in the collection, compilation, analysis and presentation of data for the Quality Department.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Associate’s Degree in Nursing or equivalent of 5 yrs LPN experience.

  • Arizona or Compact State RN or LPN licensure required up hire.

  • Bachelor’s Degree in nursing, Healthcare or related field but will consider other medical science degrees with experience.

  • Minimum of 3 years experience in an Acute Care Facility. 

  • Work requires a professional level of knowledge of the clinical record or clinical competencies in Clinical Nursing.
