Position Summary 

Works directly with all employed medical providers to assist in the enhancement of their EHR skills to maximize the utilization and functionality of the EHR system.


Minimum Qualifications

    • Minimum Education:  High school diploma or equivalent Required. Associate degree in related field preferred.
    • Minimum Work Experience:  Two (2) to three (3) years of clinical medical office experience preferred

Excellent customer service skills. Excellent critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision Excellent interpersonal skills. Ability to maintain confidentiality of all information. Ability to multi-task and be flexible. Ability to prioritize. Ability to interpret, adapt, follow and apply instructions, guidelines, policies and procedures. Skill in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with patients, peers, medical staff, and the public. Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing. Proficient computer and accurate data entry skills. Ability to train and teach using various teaching methodologies and recognizing various learning styles. Ability to gain current knowledge of all aspects of EHR system and functionality and maintain knowledge. Skill in identifying problems, using problem solving methodologies, and recommending solutions. Skill in preparing and maintaining records, writing reports, and responding to correspondence in a professional manner. Must be able to work in a stressful environment with constant interruptions and take appropriate action.

Must have a valid current New Mexico Driver’s License. Must maintain current auto insurance documentation that meets New Mexico's minimum requirements.
