The ETO Solution Engineer reports to the Director of Intelligent Automation and will work directly with other members of the Intelligent Automation team to deliver technology solutions within LifePoint.The Solution Engineer is responsible for becoming a subject matter expert (SME) of current state processes in order to provide recommendations on future state design including: user interfaces, data models, business rules/logic, metrics and integrations.The Solution Engineer will partner with the Solutions Delivery Manager, Developers and Business Analyst to successfully deliver solutions to LifePoint Stakeholders.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide leadership to team members and peers
  • Perform detailed quantitative / qualitative analysis work and draw meaningful insights from findings
  • Work effectively with Subject Matter Experts (SME) to cultivate successful partnerships
  • Partner with the Solutions Delivery Manager to provide project and program management support across the lifecycle of projects
  • Provide recommendations on the Intelligent Automation team’s SDLC approach and supporting tools/artifacts
  • Effectively communicate to a variety of audiences from executive stakeholders to peers
  • Create exceptionally detailed current and future state process flows
  • Evaluate requirements to validate intended functionality and design
  • Become familiar with any technology platform used to develop automated solutions
  • Solicit feedback from stakeholders and end users to ensure solutions meet business needs and requirements
  • Assist the business analyst on developing detailed test plans
  • Perform functional testing and help facilitate user acceptance testing
  • Validate solution results by use of clearly defined metrics
  • Establish reporting needs for each process and deliver as part of the solution
  • Proactively identify risks and work with the Solutions Delivery Manager to develop mitigation plans and escalate as needed
  • Collaborate with the Director of Intelligent Automation to prioritize initiatives based on business needs and requirements
  • Gather and document critical information from meetings with various stakeholders including any action items and owners
  • Serve as a liaison between stakeholders, IT, and users

Qualifications

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS REQUIRED:

Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Microsoft Visio

Experience writing business requirements & use cases

Experience writing and executing test plans

Excellent Oral and Written Communication Skills

Well organized

Self-sufficient

Advanced critical thinking, analytical and problem solving skills

Creative mindset

Ability to work in an ambiguous environment

Attention to detail

Qualifications

Agile/SDLC experience

Proven ability to be successful in the Process Analyst role

2 years healthcare experience required

2 years prior IT Project related experience required

Lean Six Sigma Training a plus
