Our Supply Chain Technology team supports the systems, data, and governance processes that enable efficient procurement and supply chain operations across Lifepoint Health. We partner with Supply Chain, Procurement, Accounts Payable, Contracting, and IT teams to improve data quality, streamline supplier and item governance, and drive enterprise-wide process improvements through Oracle Fusion and master data management initiatives.
How you'll contribute
A Manager who excels in this role:
Serve as the enterprise owner and subject matter expert for Supply Chain Master Data within Oracle Fusion.
Manage governance processes for supplier, vendor, item, contract, and procurement-related master data.
Lead the review, validation, approval, and maintenance of supplier and item master requests across the organization.
Facilitate Supply Chain Governance Committee meetings, presenting requests, completing due diligence, and recommending approval or denial of supplier and item setup requests.
Partner with Supply Chain Operations, Procurement, Accounts Payable, Contracting, and IT teams to ensure data accuracy and compliance.
Manage supplier onboarding, supplier changes, supplier governance, and vendor maintenance activities.
Oversee item master creation, maintenance, and governance processes, including inventory, bill-only, and contract-related items.
Ensure supply chain master data aligns with procurement, contracting, inventory, and clinical workflows.
Develop and enforce supply chain master data standards, governance policies, and data quality controls.
Support Oracle Fusion Supply Chain modules, supplier portals, supplier registration processes, and related workflows.
Collaborate with stakeholders to automate supplier onboarding and item management processes.
Support data conversions, integrations, testing, and ERP transformation initiatives impacting supply chain operations.
Monitor data quality metrics, investigate data issues, and implement corrective actions.
Work closely with managed services teams to prioritize work and ensure service-level expectations are achieved.
Develop and maintain documentation for governance procedures, workflows, business rules, and system configurations.
Assist with end-user education, process training, and adoption of supply chain governance practices.
What we're looking for
Applicants should have a Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Information Systems, Materials Management, or related field. Additional qualifications include:
Required Experience
8+ years of experience supporting Supply Chain, Procurement, ERP Systems, Master Data Management, or related functions.
Strong understanding of supplier, vendor, item, contract, and procurement master data.
Hands-on Oracle Fusion Supply Chain experience.
Experience supporting supplier onboarding, supplier governance, and vendor maintenance processes.
Experience managing item master creation, maintenance, and governance.
Understanding of procurement, inventory, contracting, and supply chain operations.
Experience participating in governance committees, approval workflows, or enterprise data governance programs.
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
Ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders and drive decisions in governance forums.
Preferred Qualifications
Healthcare supply chain experience.
Experience with supplier portals and supplier registration processes.
Experience performing Oracle data uploads and mass maintenance activities.
Experience with GHX or other healthcare EDI/vendor management platforms.
Oracle Fusion Supply Chain implementation experience.
Experience automating supplier intake and master data governance processes.
Shared services experience.
Oracle certifications or supply chain-related certifications.
