Qualifications and requirements
Applicants should have a current state RN license and possess an associate’s degree from an accredited nursing school. Additional requirements include:

  • Basic Life Support certification is required.
  • ACLS is required. 
  • Imaging, Interventional, and Therapeutic Environments Certification preferred.
  • One year of experience preferred.

Department/Unit Summary

Provides direct patient care before, during, and after cardiac catheterization procedures, focusing on diagnostic and interventional care. Responsibilities include assisting with procedures, monitoring, patient education, medication administration, and ensuring compliance with infection control and quality assurance standards. Delivers age-appropriate care to adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients, and participates in an on-call schedule for STEMI interventions, all in accordance with legal and regulatory guidelines.
