Oakwood Springs is a 72 -bed behavioral hospital located in Oklahoma City. The hospital offers inpatient and outpatient mental health and addiction treatment to adults, adolescents and their families.

The Assessment department plays an essential role in helping fulfill our mission of “Changing People’s Lives®”.  Assessment team members assess the needs of walk-in and phone callers and completes initial psychiatric assessment on patients seeking treatment.  As an Assessment Specialist, you will provide a comprehensive assessment and quality therapeutic care to patients seeking treatment of substance abuse, dual diagnosis or psychiatric or emotional disorders.   • Coordinator ensures that office operations and programming in the outpatient department operate efficiently and professionally while providing a high standard of customer satisfaction.
  • Coordinator ensures outpatient programs are compliant with all laws, rules and regulations of federal and state licensing agencies, as well as TJC standards for quality care. 
  • Coordinator oversees the work performance of the non-clinical outpatient staff.
  • Coordinator oversees the office processes and procedures to ensure a quality patient experience.
Requirements:
  • High school degree or equivalent preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license preferred.
  • CPR certification and Crisis Prevention Training (CPI) within 30 days of employment and prior to any patient contact.
Experience:
  • Previous experience on an inpatient unit preferred. Must have experience with clerical duties.
