To assist the Facilities Management Director in all programs and maintenance involving buildings, grounds, security, and distribution lines for steam, hot water, plumbing, electricity, refrigeration and sanitation under the direction of Director or Supervisor. A critical attribute required of this position is exceptional interpersonal customer services consisting of an outgoing positive attitude, warm friendly joyful demeanor, and the utmost care and reverence for our guests, patients, families, customers and colleagues.

Salary Range: $17.60 - $22.88

Essential Functions:

  • Assist in inspection repair and installation of electrical panels and circuits and motors.
  • Maintain indoor and outdoor lighting fixtures.
  • Maintain indoor and outdoor plumbing / hot water.
  • Working knowledge of all emergency power and utilities equip.
  • Maintain records and logs in accordance with WISHA, OSHA, and JCAHO.
  • Make repairs to sinks, toilets, faucets, walls, floors, ceilings, and painting.
  • Maintenance HVAC equipment, pumps, med gas, energy plant.
  • Working knowledge of disconnects and shut offs including plumbing, electrical, sprinklers, and steam.
  • Adheres to professional responsibilities.
  • Performs general maintenance and repair duties of a semi-skilled nature to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the Physical Plant.
  • Uses independent judgment in assessing problems and devising work methods.
  • Working knowledge of Personal Computers for email access, maintenance work orders and other electronic functions.

QUALIFICATIONS & Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Industrial maintenance/electrical/plumbing/HVAC experience required
  • Washington State Driver's License with Liability Insurance required
  • Ability to work with a culturally diverse population
