Wage Scale: $30.19- $41.46

SIGN ON BONUS: $7,500.00 with a 2-year commitment 

Provide brief, solution-focused therapy primarily to children/adolescents and families who are dealing with a variety of mental health issues. Work directly with managed care companies, insurers, and RSN to assure optimal delivery of services. Complete clinical and administrative data entry and paperwork in an effective, timely manner. Participate in occasional community presentations and marketing efforts. A critical attribute required of this position is exceptional interpersonal customer services consisting of an outgoing positive attitude, warm friendly joyful demeanor, and the utmost care and reverence for our guests, patients, families, customers and colleagues.

Essential Functions

  • Responsible for clinical counseling services of assigned patients.
  •  Documents services and maintains the medical record for assigned patients.
  •  Works independently and manages work time and resources effectively.
  • Uses clinical supervision and/or consultation when appropriate and as assigned.
  • Works effectively under pressure handling demands from multiple sources professionally.
  • Exemplifies a team concept.
  • Possesses good oral and written communication skills.
  • Achieves productivity standards set by Program Manager.
  • Demonstrates ability to interact in a community setting, working closely with other professionals and staff
    who are not part of the employee’s organization.
  • Demonstrates knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age, culture and specific
    needs of the patients served.

Qualifications and requirements

  • Education: Master’s Degree in behavioral sciences required
  • Population Specifics: Knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the population of consumers served in the department.
  • Experience: Two years of supervised experience providing mental health services with children and families.
  • Required Certification: Washington State Agency Affiliated Counsel OR Registration OR Washington State Associate Registration OR WA State Counselor OR Social Worker License OR WA State RN license Washington State Licensure in Mental Health, Social Work, OR Marriage and Family Therapy preferred.
  • Preferred: Mental Health Specialist (child, geriatric, DD, and/or minority). Licensed Mental Health Counselor, Marriage & Family Therapist or Social Worker preferred.
  • Required License: Washington State Driver’s License. Liability insurance to use personal vehicle and/or LHN Company vehicles for LHN business purposes.
  • Other: Commitment to maintaining productivity expectations, clinical, and administrative paperwork. Bilingual and/or English-Spanish speaking preferred. Ability to read, write, and speak English. .Ability to work with culturally diverse population
