Our Central Carolina Medical Group includes 13 physician practices comprising primary care, cardiology, general surgery, urology, orthopedics and sports medicine, and pulmonology. We employ more than 30 providers and continue to grow to better serve the needs of Lee County and beyond. How you'll contribute

An RN‑Intake who excels in this role:

  • Performs plan‑of‑care interventions, including medication administration, specimen collection, and clinical treatments
  • Accurately documents all patient care provided
  • Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition to the care team, physician, patient, and family
  • Assists patients with activities of daily living, including hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation
  • Collaborates across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including transfers, discharges, referrals, and psychosocial/spiritual support
  • Evaluates learning needs of patients and families and provides appropriate education
  • Advocates for the physical and emotional well‑being of the patient

What we're looking for

Applicants should have:

  • A current North Carolina or compact state RN license
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (required within 30 days of hire)
  • Associate's Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • One year of RN experience in a healthcare setting preferred
  • Strong critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced or stressful environment
