How You'll Contribute
The Registered Nurse - Quality Analyst (RN) at Canyon Vista Medical Center assesses the quality of patient care delivered and coordinates patient care services with patients, staff, physicians, and other departments. May provide patient care when necessary.
Essential Functions
- Assists with developing specific departmental goals, standards, and objectives which directly support the strategic plan and vision of the organization.
- Assists the director in managing and analyzing performance data, supporting the implementation of process improvement.
- Assists the director by making presentations at various meetings including Quality and Safety Committee, New Employee Orientation, and others.
- May assist the director in monitoring departmental budgets, regulatory compliance, departmental contracts, and vendor relations. Determines and justifies needs for systems/equipment/supplies purchases, monitors usage, and oversees proper working order and/or stock supplies.
- Assesses the quality of patient care delivered and coordinates patient care services with patients, staff, physicians, and other departments. May provide patient care when necessary.
- Creates and fosters an environment that encourages professional growth.
- Integrates evidence-based practices into operations and clinical protocols.
- Reports to: Director, Quality and Safety FLSA: NonExempt

What we're looking for:
Applicants should have a current Arizona or compact state RN license and possess an Associate's degree from an accredited nursing school. Additional requirements include:
- Associate's degree in nursing (ADN) required.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Nursing, Healthcare Management, or Quality strongly preferred.
- Minimum Work Experience, One (1) to three (3) years diverse clinical practice in an acute care environment required.
- Previous performance improvement and/or project management experience required.
- Demonstrated progressive leadership skills required.
