How you'll contribute
You'll support our Providers and patients by ensuring seamless, safe, and efficient clinic operations. Your role blends direct patient care, clinical coordination, and essential office functions to keep our practice running smoothly. Key responsibilities include:
- Assisting MDs/NPs with direct patient care, including equipment preparation, vital signs, medical history, and other clinical data
- Managing appointment scheduling, procedure coordination, and timely patient flow
- Processing prescription refills and obtaining insurance pre‑authorizations for testing and procedures
- Taking verbal orders from Providers and documenting accurately
- Administering oral and parenteral medications (excluding IV) under Physician direction
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and well‑stocked clinical environment
- Completing all documentation promptly and supporting overall clinic operations as needed

Qualifications and Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Associate's degree required; Bachelor's degree preferred
- Current NC RN license
- BLS certification (required or obtained within first week of hire)
- 1-2 years of prior clinic experience preferred
- Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and proficiency with medical terminology and data entry
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and maintain strict confidentiality
