Registered Nurse (RN) Quality Coordinator
Status/FTE: FT / 1.0 FTE
Shift length: 8 or 10 hours
Start Time: 0800
Unit: Quality
Schedule Requirements (including weekends, holidays): Mon-Friday, no weekends.
Required qualifications:
- BLS for Healthcare Provider
- Associate's degree in nursing or allied health science, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.
- Proficient in English, verbal and written communication skills, and computer skills required
Preferred qualifications:
- Two (2) years' experience in healthcare quality improvement, patient safety, or a related field preferred
- Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ), Certified Professional in-Patient Safety (CPPS) or similar certification preferred, or within one year of hire
Additional Information/Department information: Patient Safety focus is responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring initiatives aimed at improving patient safety and quality of care. This role involves collaboration with clinical teams, monitoring safety protocols, analyzing data and incident reports, implementing strategies to prevent harm and improve patient outcomes while applying evidence-based practices. This position will also be a backup for our Data Analysis/Abstraction as needed.
