You will guide enterprise‑wide quality initiatives, elevate patient safety, and ensure regulatory readiness across the organization. Your voice will influence decisions at the highest levels, including Executive Leadership and the Board of Directors.
How you'll contribute
In this highly visible and impactful role, you will direct the operational, financial, and personnel resources for multiple quality‑driven functions, ensuring a coordinated and system‑wide approach to performance excellence. Your leadership will support clinical and non‑clinical teams, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement efforts across the enterprise.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading Quality Performance, Accreditation/Licensing, Patient Relations, Infection Prevention, Patient Safety, and Policy/Procedure Management
- Representing the Quality Department in Leadership and Board meetings
- Overseeing regulatory surveys (DOH, CMS, and accrediting bodies)
- Directing performance improvement processes and supporting multidisciplinary teams
- Serving as an internal consultant for Joint Commission, DNV, HFAP, and other regulatory standards
- Developing and implementing data analytics strategies aligned with the Strategic Plan and Quality Dashboard
- Managing occurrence reporting, near‑miss analysis, and sentinel event investigations
- Coaching leaders on Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and fostering a Just Culture
- Leading proactive risk‑assessment strategies and internal communication of patient‑safety issues
- Monitoring patient and family satisfaction and responding to concerns
- Supporting discharge planning, community resource coordination, and chart review for quality, compliance, and reimbursement

Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required
- Master's degree preferred
- RN license required
- Strong critical‑thinking skills, decisive judgment, and ability to work independently
- Ability to perform effectively in high‑pressure environments
- Experience in quality, regulatory compliance, patient safety, or related healthcare leadership roles strongly preferred
