Position Summary:

As a Licensed Practical Nurse, you will provide patient care using the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Addressing the physical, psychosocial, and religious/cultural needs of the patient and family is crucial. Effective communication with the healthcare team about changes in the patient's condition is essential.

Minimum Requirements:

·         Successful completion of the Licensed Practical Nursing Diploma Program is required from an accredited school is required. 

·         You must have critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision.

·          Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) is required within 30 days of hire. 

·          A current North Carolina or compact state LPN is also required. 

·         1 year of experience in a healthcare setting is preferred.
