Summary:

Responsible for outpatient and inpatient evaluations, assessments, plans of care and ongoing physical therapy treatments as prescribed by a licensed physician.   Administer treatment plan of care in an effort to restore function and prevent disability following injury, disease or physical disability.   The therapist must document, in a timely manner, all patient related information and ensure that patients are charged correctly per departmental and insurance carrier guidelines.  The staff therapist participates in departmental operational activities such as the budget, clinical quality, clinical education, infection control, departmental safety and team building programs.

Required Education: 

Bachelor’s degree is required

Master's degree is preferred

Doctoral degree is preferred

Required License:

North Carolina Board of Physical Therapy Licensure is required

Required Certification: 

American Heart Associate CPR is required within 30 days of hire
