How you'll contribute
A Senior Scheduling Coordinator who excels in this role:
- Receives patient scheduling information from physician offices and electronically adjusts schedule, ensuring accuracy and appropriate time allotment for procedures.
- Arranges schedules to ensure timely patient flow through perioperative period.
- Keeps schedule updated with add-on's and cancellations Communicates with anesthesia regarding coverage and concerns.
- Communicates any special needs for procedures, or concerns regarding patient care to manager/director or charge RN Maintains calendar and updates with physician vacations and department changes.
- Maintains department call schedule for contact center Calls every patient prior to procedure to confirm appointment, provide directions and give patient arrival time

What we're looking for
Senior Scheduling Coordinator:
Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent Required. Associates Degree preferred
Preferred Minimum Work Experience: 2 years Medical Office experience required.
