Position Summary: 

The Emergency Department (ED) at Canyon Vista Medical Center embodies a culture of teamwork and effective communication, essential for the delivery of patient care. This 22-bed unit operates within a trauma III hospital setting, ensuring patients receive optimal medical attention and support. The LPN - LVN is responsible for delivery of patient care in the Emergency Department. Assists patients with performing activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation. Monitors, documents, and communicates patient's status and reactions to interventions with RN, physician, patient, and families. Works as an advocate for the physical and emotional well-being of the patient. Under the supervision of a professional Nurse (RN). Will provide emergency care as guided by the CVMC policy and ENA guidelines. 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Associate’s Degree in Nursing required. 
  • Must have an active Arizona or Compact LPN/LVN License.
  • 1 to 2 years of experience preferred.
  • Must obtain BLS/CPR within 30 days of hire.
