How You'll Contribute:

An Ultrasound Technician who excels in this role:

  • Receives patients, explains the method of procedure, and makes sure the patient is comfortable.
  • Provides patient services to all ages using imaging modalities.
  • Operates ultrasound equipment to perform clinical diagnostic ultrasound exams and routine invasive procedures
    according to established standards and practices.
  • Maintains equipment and supplies and organizes work area.
  • Keeps accurate records, helps with scheduling of the ultrasound, and keeps patient flow smooth.
  • Observes Radiation Safety Guidelines.

 

What we're looking for 

Education: Graduate of a Diagnostic Medical Sonography program or School of Radiology required.

Experience: One year of diagnostic medical sonography experience preferred.

License: /Certifications: Graduate of an accredited DMS program or ARRT/DMS certification; BLS required within 30 days of hire.
