Position Summary:

Surgical Tech is responsible for assisting surgeons and other members of the surgical team during operations, including pre-surgery setup and post-operation tasks.  PRN position.  Must be able to take call. Prepares surgical operating suite with drapes, solutions, instruments, equipment, and supplies. Ensures good working order of equipment and instruments. Assists with preparing, transporting, positioning and draping patients. Passes instruments to physician during surgery. Continually accounts for number and location of instruments and supplies during surgery. Assists with keeping patient rooms and common areas stocked, clean and orderly.


Minimum Qualifications:

·   Previous experience with surgery and/or medical services, preferred

·   Graduate of Surgical Tech Program, preferred

·   BLS certification within 6 months
