Essential Functions
Performs common testing procedures and reports test results.
Performs calibrations, instrument maintenance and troubleshooting
Performs quality control testing.
Maintains supplies needed for performance of tests.
Performs routine phlebotomy on all ages
Performs Therapeutic Phlebotomy as requested
Successfully completes competency assessments and color blind testing
DOT Urine drug screen and BAT collection certified
Analyzes test results for accuracy, acceptability and critical limits. Reports / documents results per organizational standards.

Job Requirements
Minimum EducationX Associate’s degree X Required
X Graduate of a Program in Discipline X Required
Required SkillsRequires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.Ability to quickly learn how to navigate multiple complex software systemsMust be able to communicate with the ability to read, write, speak and understand English
Certifications:ASCP, AMT or other nationally certified accredited organization or board eligibleBoard Eligible employees are to be ASCP or AMT registered within the first 6 months of employmentHandle with Care within 6 months of Hire and renewed annually
Licenses:No state license required
Hospital or clinical experience preferred
