Position Summary:

Athletic Trainer- High School based position

Recognizes, manages, and rehabilitates injuries to students, and athletes at local community schools. Provides emergency care, preventative care, and rehabilitative care to the athletes at assigned school locations.

Reports to Director, Physician Practices

- Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal
supervision.
- Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
- Ability to understand, communicate, and react effectively to student, family and provider needs

Required Licenses
Athletic Trainer

- A High School Diploma
- Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC) certification
- Licensed as an Athletic Trainer by the North Carolina Board of Athletic Trainer Examiners or license
