ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Receives patients, explains method of procedure and makes sure patient is comfortable.Provides patient services to all ages using imaging modalities-Pediatric and infant experience is beneficial.Operates ultrasound equipment to perform clinical diagnostic ultrasound exams and routine invasive procedures according to established standards and practices.Maintains equipment and supplies and organizes work area.Keeps accurate records, helps with scheduling of the ultrasound and keeps patient flow smooth.Assists cardiologist with interventional procedures as ordered.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
Minimum EducationCertification in Cardiac Sonography (ARDMS, RDCS, or CCI RCS) - PreferredBachelor's Degree - Preferred CAssociate's Degree or Diploma with 1 year relevant experience orgraduate from accredited Cardiac US Program - Required
Required SkillsCertifications:Basic Life Support (BLS) - Required within 90 days of hire.Obtain ARDMS, RDCS, or CCI RCS in Cardiac Sonography within 4 years of hire.
