What you will do in this role:

  • Monitor the hospitals quality program.
  • Demonstrates an extensive knowledge of all regulatory standards including TJC, Medicaid, state, and federal laws.
  • Advises and informs departments on regulatory standards.
  • Works with hospital employees to identify risk/safety concerns and leads the team to take correction action as needed.
  • Collects and analyzes data on hospital performance.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in a health-related field preferred, or bachelor’s degree in a health-related field with equivalent in a psychiatric hospital.
  • Previous experience in a psychiatric health care facility, with direct experience working with chemical dependency, dual diagnosis, psychiatric, and geriatric patients preferred.
  • If applicable, unencumbered license to practice by the State Board of Nursing.
  • CPR certification and Crisis Prevention Training (CPI) within 30 days.
