       Lifepoint Rehabilitation, a business unit of Lifepoint Health, is building a new rehabilitation hospital in Youngstown, Ohio, Mercy Health Rehabilitation Hospital, Youngstown. Expected to open in 2024, this 60-bed, 66,000-square-foot, two-story, inpatient acute rehabilitation hospital operating jointly with Lifepoint Rehabilitation and Mercy Health, is more than a job. It’s a chance to be a vital member of an interdisciplinary team caring for people in the Mahoning Valley who need continued care to recover completely.

What you will do in this role:

  • Manages the department by company policies, procedures, standards, and applicable federal, state, and local regulations
  • Manages department budget through operational expense management and labor management
  • Manages the department’s financials and completes necessary monthly reporting
  • Develops or oversees the department schedule to assure adequate staff to provide services, but within budgeted FTEs
  • Performs or oversees ordering and delivery of food, supplies, and equipment from approved vendors to ensure adequate stock levels to perform departmental functions
  • Oversees the stocking and inventory of current food and supplies following proper storage and labeling procedures
  • Monitors quality in the kitchen to assuring quality measures are routinely done; spot checking logs frequently for accuracy of data and conducts weekly kitchen safety/sanitation audits
  • Other duties as assigned


Qualifications

        •  Education (must have one of the following qualifications)

1.Registered dietitian

2.Registered dietetic technician

3.Certified dietary manager

4.Associate degree or higher in food service or restaurant management

  • Food Safety Training:

·Food protection manager certification from an ANSI-CFP program (i.e. ServSafe®)

  • Experience:

·Experience in managing food services in a healthcare facility, acute care or skilled nursing, highly preferred
