Job Summary
Schedules CT personnel, Radiology Nurses and coordinates flow of patient traffic to ensure smooth patient throughout.
Maintains equipment and supplies in an appropriate manner.
Performs under the general supervision of the Administrative Director, to whom all malfunctions will be required.
Communicates with all staff in the Radiology Department in order that patient examinations be performed in a timely manner.
Communicates with nursing staff/ED in order that in-house ED patient exams may be done in an orderly and timely manner.
Essential Functions
Controls activity in the CT lab in a manner which facilitates optimal patient throughout and quality care
Accurately performs CT scans and procedures
Maintains the CT work are and equipment in a professional and competent manner
Relays pertinent information to physicians, department managers, supervisors and staff
Demonstrates knowledge of order entry and radiology systems
Assists in the instruction of students as required by regulatory agencies, Raleigh General Hospital and the sponsoring educational institution.
Provides age appropriate care to all patients.

Job Requirements
Minimum EducationGraduate of a Program in Discipline - Required
Required SkillsRequires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
Certifications:Basic Life Support (BLS) - to be obtained within 30 days
Required Licenses[West Virginia, United States] Other
ARRT/CT registry with WV license: CPR Certification.
Minimum Work ExperienceMinimum of two years radiology experience, with a minimum of 3 years CT experience with detailed knowledge of cross sectional anatomy required. Minimum of 1 year supervisory experience preferred.
