What you will do in this role:

  • Responsible for providing a full range of recreation therapy services including assessment, treatment planning and therapeutic interventions in a team environment consistent with the position's qualifications, professional practices and ethical standards
  • Provide recreation therapy services both independently and in conjunction with the interdisciplinary team
  • Demonstrate accountability for and contribution to program development, quality improvement, problem solving and productivity enhancement in a flexible team fashion
  • Accountable for carrying out all responsibilities in accordance with CORE values
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • At a minimum, be a graduate of a bachelor’s degree therapeutic recreation program (or foreign equivalent), and hold an applicable and current license/certification to practice
  • Certification by the National Council of Therapeutic Recreation Specialists is preferred
  • Education/experience in working with an adult and geriatric population is preferred
  • Education/experience serving people with physical disabilities is preferred
  • Computer and current technology competence
