We are currently seeking a skilled Engineer-Maintenance member to join our hospital. We offer a supportive and collaborative work environment where our team is dedicated to providing exceptional patient care.

 

The ideal candidate will possess critical thinking skills, sound judgment, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, demanding environment and take decisive action is essential.

 

The primary responsibility of this role will be to provide patient care in accordance with the established scope of practice, standards, policies, values, and mission of our organization.

MUST BE ABLE TO PREFORM INDEPENDENTLY:

*Performs utility and structural repairs as needed, alone or in collaboration with internal/external tradespersons.
*Inspects, tests, and maintains records for all fire risers, sprinklers, extinguishers, fire doors, and other fire/safety-related equipment and systems.
*Moves items within/between locations and from/to storage.
*Mend and repair leaky pipes, joints and fixtures
*Measure, cut, thread and install pipes
*Accurately calculate measurements for proper cutting/function of pipes
*Paint structures, perform masonry work, fixtures and woodwork
*Install electrical systems

*Analyze equipment failures and make necessary adjustments
*Operate hand tools, power tools and voltage or ampere measuring devices
*Read blueprints, drawings sketches and layouts


Minimum Education:
High school diploma or equivalent

MUST HAVE ONE YEAR MAINTENANCE EXPERIENCE
