Position Summary:

The ER Admissions Coordinator is responsible for successfully assisting with the organizational and administrative operations of NPMC ER Admissions staff under the direction of PFSD.  Additional responsibilities include: 

  • possibility of working in the event of staff shortage
  • perform at the highest level to serve the hospital and NP patients
  • assist with ensuring efficient processes for registration and reception areas
  • assist with supervisory duties including hiring, training, evaluating, disciplinary action, and the day-to-day management of ER Admissions
  • report payroll and productivity
  • emphasis placed on customer service, patient satisfaction, staff development and fiscal goals
  • collaborate and coordinate with Patient Access Supervisor as needed

Minimum Qualifications:

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE: 

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Medical and scheduling knowledge preferred. Minimum 2 years management experience.
