Essential Functions
Observes and records patient behavior and activities. Reports any changes in physical, mental or emotional condition to nursing staff and suggests modifications to the treatment plan.
Conducting routine continuous unit rounds of high-risk areas and observe patient interactions in shared spaces.
Identify and Intervene in situations that compromise patient safety such as boundary violations.
Safely handoff incident to staff, when indicated.
Report and Document incidents accurately.

Job Requirements
Minimum EducationHigh School Diploma - RequiredCollege education will serve as proof of high school diploma
Bachelor’s degree - Preferred
Required SkillsRequires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
Certifications:Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of hireHandle with Care - within 30 days of hire
